Our standard battery box is designed to fit Series 24 batteries with a maximum height of 10-1/8 inches. It features four cable openings enlarged to 0.55" diameter, large handles with rolled edges, and instructions molded inside the cover.

The new larger capacity makes it suitable for standard size, series 24 batteries, and comes in vented and non-vented options. The battery boxes meet ABYC standard E-10 and U.S. Coast Guard specification number 183.420 as an OEM-installed battery hold-down system. Constructed with polypropylene, they are resistant to acid. The hold-down straps are capable of resisting 350 pounds of force, almost four times the USCG requirement. The drop testing of battery boxes is conducted in temperatures ranging from -20DegreeF to +120DegreeF. The white models do not come with mounting hardware, and it's important to note that the 9069 cover is non-vented and not for marine use.
