Introducing the Newport Vessels Catalina, a high quality and heavy duty salt and freshwater inflatable sport dinghy tender boat. This boat is designed and tested to accommodate both 15" short shaft outboards as well as 20" long shaft outboards. We recommend using a 15" short shaft outboard for optimal performance, but the Catalina can handle both 2 or 4 stroke motors.

Newport Vessels is USCG rated and registered, and the boat comes with all original paperwork needed for easy and hassle free registration. The unique and original Hull ID/HIN numbers add an extra layer of security and authenticity to your vessel.

The air keel creates a shaped V hull for easy planing and improved steering, while sturdy carrying handles and stainless steel D-rings for towing and bimini & accessory attachments make for a versatile boating experience. The self bailing transom drain valve and easy grab rope with splash guard around the edge limits water spray inside the boat.

In terms of premium quality, the hull of the Catalina is made from high quality crisp white PVC fabric with UV treatment, .9mm/1100D. The floor is made from aluminum framed marine grade coated plywood, providing a solid and stable surface for standing, casting, and planing. The seams are heat welded using the latest technology, ensuring durability and reliability.

The Catalina measures at 12ft 6in in length, with a tube diameter of 18in and an inflated width of 66in. It has 3 chambers plus 1 keel, a max power of 20HP, and a max engine weight of 115lbs. The outboard shaft is short at 15”-17”, with a max load capacity of 1519lbs and the ability to hold up to 6 persons.
