Introducing the all-new NOCO BGU1 SnapTop Battery Box, a rugged and heavy-duty solution for Group U1 batteries commonly used in lawn and garden equipment, generators, gate openers, and other related applications. This battery box features a reimagined and structurally more rigid snap-top design, making installation easier and more secure than ever before.

With simplified installation, the BGU1 battery box offers pre-drilled internal pilot holes for direct mounting without the need for a battery strap. For more demanding applications, a new strap mount system is also available. The reinforced design with a honeycomb lattice structure provides maximum protection for the battery, ensuring impact resistance down to -20ºF (-28ºC) and resistance to acid, gas, UV, and oil.

In addition, the battery box offers maximum versatility with enhanced cable entry ports for improved cable routing from multiple directions, including optional ventilation holes for additional airflow. It meets USCG 183.420 and ABYC E-10.7 specifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Included in the package are the BGU1 Group U1 Snap-Top Marine Battery Box, Battery Divider, 36-Inch Battery Hold-Down Strap, Battery Mounting Tray, and (4) #8x1-Inch Self-Tapping Screws. With its all-new rugged and snap-lock design, this battery box provides secure protection for batteries, preventing unwanted movement, accidental shorting of battery terminals, and collecting battery acid while allowing for adequate ventilation.
