Description of the Product The universal fitment of this product allows it to support outboard motor brands such as Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Evinrude, Honda, and Tohatsu. Specifically designed for outboards with single ram hydraulic tilt systems, this product is intended to support and brace the outboard motor when trailering in order to prevent any unwanted motor travel up and down. This movement can potentially damage the tilt and trim unit's hydraulic system and boat transom if wedge/block support is not utilized (see Fitment Guide for specific fitment range).

This product is easy to use and does not require any drilling or special installation. Users can simply tilt the engine up, insert the high pressure wedge into the Tilt Ram piston, and then tilt down. There is no need to bend over or get on your knees, and the product eliminates metal to skeg scraping that can occur with metal transom savers. With a high density EPDM rubber formula, this product has been trial tested and constructed better by Mangrove Products. The upgraded design includes a compression testing over 2000 lbs of pressure, extended wedge length to aid in higher skeg ride height, and the ability to withstand extreme hot/cold temperatures under compression. It also features 10 inner notches for secure connection to tilt shaft, a colored visual surface, and ergonomic design for storage in a dry box. The pressure between the wedge and tilt/trim unit will not damage the wedge unit.
