Battery Box - 24 Series, Non-Vented

This standard battery box meets ABYC standard E-10 and U.S. Coast Guard Specification Number 183.420 as an OEM-installed battery hold-down system. It is constructed of polypropylene for total acid resistance and the hold-down straps can resist 350 lbs. of force, which is nearly four times the USCG requirement. The box has been drop tested in temperatures ranging from -20°F to +120°F. The interior dimensions are 11-1/8" x 7-3/4" x 10-1/8" and the strap length is 40". Mounting hardware is included.

This battery box is designed to fit Series 24 batteries, with a maximum height of 10-1/8". It features four cable openings, each enlarged to 0.55" diameter, and large handles with rolled edges for easy handling. Additionally, the instructions are molded inside the cover for easy reference.
