The Kayak Series trolling motor is Newport's first kayak-specific motor, building on the design of our NV Series trolling motors. It features a height-adjustable 24-inch shaft for proper depth placement and extended battery cabling for flexible battery placement, ensuring compatibility with all transom mount kayaks and canoes. With five forward speeds and three reverse speeds, it provides a smooth and efficient ride, while the 5 LED battery indicator lets you know how much run time is left on your current charge. The 36lb thrust Kayak Series motor is equipped with a 2-blade propeller to reduce drag, balancing efficiency and thrust for optimal performance. It is powered by one 12-volt Lead-Acid Deep Cycle or Marine battery.

The durable all-aluminum motor head with corrosion-resistant magnesium, zinc, and stainless-steel hardware makes it suitable for saltwater use (Lead-Acid DC 12V). The extra-long 5'6" battery cables allow for versatile battery placement for optimal weight distribution (battery not included).
