The AGM completely absorbs the electrolyte, classifying the VMAX as "non-spillable and non-hazardous". A robust tank seals and protects the tightly packed plates, delivering a 100% maintenance-free package. The VMAX tanks utilize an electrolyte suspension system consisting of AGM with high porosity to completely absorb and contain the electrolyte, free of any silica gels or contaminants.
